Album paper is available in #100 weight stock or linen. Additional pages are available in increments of 2 for $2.00 up to a maximum of 50 pages.

- 10x10”, 8.5x11”, or 11x8.5”: $75.00 -- just the right size for a wedding album

Lunch

Today, Max and I met Ryan for lunch at a restaurant that just opened up across the street from where Ryan works called Sundays Bake Shop & Eatery. We had heard about it in the paper a few months ago and have been anticipating its opening not only because of its convenient location but because their specialty is pie. Ryan and I share a similar trait, a big sweet tooth. Over lunch, we discussed our favorite desserts. I decided that mine are most definitely ice cream and cookies, where Ryan's are pie and cake. I may convert to pie though after the yummy apple pie we had. Overall, I say Sundays is a hit (by the way, we did actually have a lunch, which was really good).

Max fell asleep on the short ride home, so you get a double dose of Max today. This picture is horribly out of focus, but I love it anyways.

Wedding World 2008

Wedding World 2008

Sunday I had a booth at the local Wedding World expo. It's the biggest wedding expo in the area with around 3000 people in attendance. I've been planning to be at this event since I started up my business last October. At the time, I was thinking I HAD to be at something like this in order to get business. To my surprise, I am almost booked up for 2008 all on my own, so I treated yesterday as just a good way to get my name out in the community. I had a blast talking with everyone and I can't describe what it was like to have a physical presence of my business. I do most of my business on my couch with my laptop while Max plays on the floor or in his activity center. So, to have a booth with BIG pictures hanging up for everyone to see felt really great.

Also, a big THANK YOU to my sister who helped me out. I really needed that second hand.

He wasn't quite sure about it. I think he was more interested in my flash.

Zach & Ariane

I've always wanted to do a winter session. I was excited when Zach and Ariane asked for a winter engagement session. We met at Pettibone park and took a bunch by the gazebo and then went down to the beach house. Finally, we headed to downtown La Crosse for a few pictures around town.

Both Zach and Ariane were full of ideas. I love when couples really get into the session. Ariane came with her laptop and showed me some poses that she liked, but we also came up with our own.

Zach is deaf, so we had fun incorporating sign language into the pictures, including a series of "I love you."

I
Love
You

Thanks for a great session, guys! I hope your July 5th wedding will be a bit warmer. :)

Max Friday

While not the best pictures, these make me smile a whole lot because they are very much our life right now. The one on the left shows Max's current love for water bottles (and not to mention a half-eaten dinner and a baby on the lap). The picture on the right was taken last weekend when it was pretty nice outside. We bundled up Max and took a walk with Freckles. Max and I haven't been joining Ryan and Freckles on their walks, but we've been anxious to put him in this bear snow suit for quite some time. It finally fits. I think he may be the cutest, ever. :)

Happy New Year!

I'm excited for this new year. I'm anxious for all of the weddings that I have booked, and to implement some of the ideas floating around in my head for this business. I'm excited for all the milestones that Max will reach this year. I think it is going to be a great year.

Thanks to everyone who reads this blog regularly. Have a fantastic new year.
