Booked

I've been meaning to post for awhile that I am officially booked for 2008 weddings! I'm so excited for all that is coming up this year.

I am still accepting family/portrait sessions for 2008. My availability is now out on my web site (under "availability"). Also, for my wedding couples, if you haven't scheduled your engagement session, you might want to think about getting it on the calendar now.

Get ready

for a lot of Max pictures in the next few weeks. I'm having a lot of fun with him sitting up.
I've been in a black and white mood lately. Usually, I can never decide to post color or black and white, but I've been leaning towards black and white more.

Cody & Chris, engaged

Yesterday, I had an engagement session with Cody and Chris. They are high school sweethearts from Galesville. So, of course we had to take pictures there. I got the grand tour from them. :) Really, I think we hit all of the big spots in town. I love engagement sessions because it gives me a chance to get to know the couple a little better before the wedding. I found out that Cody and Chris are super laid-back, and were open for all of the crazy spots I put them in. Who knew Galesville would have so many great locations? Chris went around beforehand and scouted out some great places. I love when we're all on the same page.




I added a little texture to this picture, and actually like how it turned out. I think I'm getting the hang of it.



For that last shot, we had to climb a hill in the cemetery. Both of their feet were frozen by this point, but it was worth it for the sun and the backdrop. Thanks for a fun day, guys!

Max Friday

6 months

Oh, you are so lucky! You get a special Max posting this week. Today, Max turns 6-months old. To celebrate, I took some more pictures in our bedroom, which gets pretty afternoon light, and that white comforter definitely helps as a reflector. Happy 6 months, baby boy.

Holding on

Usually, I'm anxious for Max to reach each new milestone. I love seeing him become such a little person. However, I have not been anxious for him to graduate out of his infant car seat. I will miss how easy it is to take him places in it. But more than that, I'm going to very much miss looking in my rear view mirror and seeing his face through the little hole in the car seat cover. It makes me smile every time.
